Using the DB2 UDB Option for CICS, a client application can now invoke a DB2 stored procedure as a Server Option remote procedure call (RPC). Client applications can access the DB2 UDB Option for CICS directly or through the Transaction Router Service (TRS) component of the DirectConnect for z/OS Option.
